Paul Young is an Emmy-winning producer who founded Principato-Young Entertainment (PYE) in 2000, one of the premiere management-production companies in Hollywood. Paul sold his stake in PYE to Barry Diller’s IAC in 2017.
Paul has produced more than 30 films and television shows, including iconic comedies like “Reno 911,” “Married” and “Key & Peele.” Paul also produced the blockbuster films “Central Intelligence” and “Keanu.”
In January Paul started a new management-production company called MAKE GOOD. Its inaugural production, “This Close,” is the first-ever television show created by and starring people who are deaf. This bold and innovative dramedy was picked up for a second season by AMC’s Sundance Now in April. MAKE GOOD has multiple series and films in various stages of production.
Paul served as Paramount Pictures Director of Creative Affairs in 1995–1996. He was a reporter for Daily Variety from 1994–1995. While running PYE, Paul also served as Chairman of The Groundlings Theatre from 2003-2007. He graduated from Swarthmore College in 1992.
