Michael is a student of the mind. As an artist, teacher & mindfulness instructor, he explores the fields of ancient contemplative practices & cutting-edge neuro- psychology. He recently returned from a Fulbright in Nepal where he studied the technology of meditation. With over 100 days of intensive retreat, his practice, a mixture of Tantric Tibetan Buddhism, Zen, Vipassana & secular mindfulness, is rooted in compassion, innovation & tenacious humility. Michael teaches students around the world ranging from high school dropouts to in Bogotá to Buddhist practitioners in Kathmandu. He seeks to help others discover, explore & realize the boundlessness of their potential.

Weekly Meditation Class:
Weekly meditation class offers an informal, no-expectations opportunity to come drop in, engage, and train your mind. Michael Gordon, a Fulbright Researcher and meditation coach, has lead mindfulness workshops around the world from Bogotá, Colombia to Kathmandu, Nepal. His practice, a combination of Tibetan Buddhism, Vipassana, and secular mindfulness invites you to cultivate your capacity for awareness, compassion, and taking ownership of your own happiness.

4 Week Experiential Course:

This four-week course offers an introduction to the radical potential of transforming the mind. Combining ancient wisdom and cutting edge scientific research, we explore and practice a variety of meditation techniques designed to focus, calm, and awaken our reality. The curriculum moves participants through an analytical, empathy-building mode of personal discovery, development, and empowerment. By engaging with the cognitive, emotional, and physiological components of our experience, we can begin to choose a more skillful path through the world. And in doing so, we create happier, healthier, more productive lives for ourselves and those around us.
